Our mission is to serve with dedication and to actively, efficiently and effectively deploy all resources to empower the school system to achieve the educational goals of the community living in the Kuliyapitiya Education Zone.
The Kuliyapitiya Education Zone is one of the leading education zones in Sri Lanka’s North Western Province, situated within the Kurunegala District. The Kuliyapitiya Zonal Education Office is responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of educational standards across all institutions under its jurisdiction, including government schools, semi-government schools, private schools, and Pirivenas.
The zone consists of multiple education divisions, each working to enhance the quality of teaching and learning through annual development themes, innovative educational strategies, and focused improvement programmes.
A dedicated team comprising subject directors, divisional directors, in-service advisors, principals, and teachers collaborates to uplift instruction quality, strengthen teacher professional development, and enhance student performance.
Through strong partnerships with school leaders and educators, the Kuliyapitiya Zonal Education Office carries out its responsibilities with commitment, vision, and a continued focus on achieving excellence in education for all students within the zone.
